Honeybee populations may be shrinking around the world, but that wasn't the case at Victoria Clayton's circa 1866 house, where a bee expert spent much of Thursday removing a huge wax honeycomb and 30,000 of the buzzing creatures from an attic crawl space. We’re celebrating Merchantville’s 150th in a big way! Bring your family and neighbors to join the Borough at an old-fashioned Merchantville birthday party in Wellwood Park on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Enjoy a picnic in the park, relay races, pie eating contests and other fun games. Take this opportunity to meet and chat with volunteers from town organizations and Merchantville's dedicated business owners. 150th Scavenger @Goosechase
Come join the Great Merchantville 150th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt! Form your team, get the @Goosechase App and start hunting! The Great Merchantville Scavenger Hunt opens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19th. Form a team with your friends and neighbors and participate in the Scavenger Hunt during which you’ll learn fun facts about the town. Using your phone, you’ll visit twenty-five stops over a two-week period, answering questions, taking pictures, and scoring points. One member of your team must be 18 years or older.
